Singapore had many immigrants from China, South India, Malaysia and Indonesia. Also they were influenced through Arabian merchants and the British colonial rule. All that merged to what is today Singapore.
A vaccination against hepatitis A is recommended, for longer stays, a vaccination against typhus and hepatitis B can make sense.
You can stay in Singapore without a visa for 90 days. That’s applicable for nearly all countries in the Western world and a lot of Asian and African countries. Only some are excluded from this regulation.
Singapore is one of the safest countries on this planet, so you don’t really need to worry. But it is also known as the „Fine City“, because there are fines for nearly everything. Especially littering is very expensive (500-1000$).
